A beautiful, bespoke navy wool coat by Bernard Weatherill, tailored in March 1958.

To fit a 38-40" bust.

This is a mid-weight wool coat ideal for showing, or for warm early season hunting (it is not a heavyweight hunting coat).

It is a hacking style cut with all the hallmarks of made to measure Weatherill tailoring, in particular his beautifully shaped sleeves, with working cuffs.

It is in excellent condition all over. It does have a very small pin prick hole on the left sleeve which is likely historic moth. It has been treated.

- hacking style cut with two external sloped pockets

- signature cream satin lining

- single vent to the rear


Bust measures 20" across, we call this a 40" coat
