A stunning vintage frock coat by Master tailor Bernard Weatherill, made in 1945.
This is a beautiful, heavy coat in the cutaway style, 3-button front and long at 34 1/2" from the bottom of the collar to the hem.
It isn't perfect - the cloth has some moth damage (though it's scuffing, not holes), the armpit wool lining has been professionally repaired, & the tail point lining might want some replacing in time - but it is a serious heavy coat ready to wear, with buttons attached, which will last another lifetime (or 2 or 3).
Chest 44" approx but worth trying if you're a 42 or 44" chest.
Length excl collar 34 1/2"
Shoulder seam to shoulder seam 19"
Outside seam 25" with another 4" of hem available
