A rare, bespoke heavyweight ladies' hunting coat by Master tailor Bernard Weatherill.
This was tailored for a wonderful hunting lady in June 1966 & is a wonderful example of a true heavyweight hunting coat.
It is in superb condition all over with all the tailoring detail we look for such as working cuffs and button-hole.
- It is cut in the hacking style with two outside sloping pockets, internal ticket pocket, internal hare pocket
- 32oz navy cavalry twill
- 3-button front, single vent to the rear
- Beautiful tattersall cloth lining to the upper body with satin skirt lining, and interlayers between producing a true heavyweight coat
Condition note: Excellent condition all over, with only minor signs of wear on the tail point lining / tattersall lining.
Sold without buttons attached but we can provide plain black buttons alongside the coat if desired.
