Stunning: A 1963 navy Bernard Weatherill coat, 36" (VTR736)

A pristine navy, bespoke Bernard Weatherill riding coat, tailored for a showing and hunting rider in 1963.

This is a mid-weight coat in navy cavalry twill. It is the ideal showing coat for high level show competition or would make a beautiful Opening Meet coat on a warmer hunting day.

It is glorious.

It features:

- double vents to the rear which will be ideal for a modern show rider

- hacking style cut with 3-button front

- two external sloping skirt pockets

- cream satin lining

- working button-hole

- superb tailoring as only the Savile Masters can deliver

It is in mint condition.


36-37" bust (it measures 18.5" across the bust when buttoned and laid flat)

Length from bottom of collar to hem is 27 1/2"

Outside sleeve 25", and the inner sleeve from armpit to cuff along inner seam is 17 1/2"

Shoulder to shoulder it measures 17 1/4".
