A rare and stunning, bespoke black heavyweight hunting frock coat for a petite lady, bust 34".
This is a beautiful coat, tailored in 1980 by Weatherill, a leading women's equestrian tailor.
We rarely see these coats in a frock cut so this coat is highly recommended. It's a hunting coat but it's special enough for high level showing too.
It will fit a lady with a 32-34" bust who is probably around 5ft 6" or shorter, as it has a length of 26 1/2" from the bottom of the collar to the hem.
- high quality, heavyweight black wool cloth, with cotton tattersal lining
- two inside button-fastening hare pockets
- working button hole and cuffs
- outside ticket pocket at the waist
It is sold without buttons.
Condition: In excellent condition. The only flaw we can see is a re-stitching of a section of lining at the neck of the coat. It's not a bad job but could be re-done by a professional easily for a slightly neater finish.
17" across, or 34" actual bust.
Length is 26 1/2" excl the collar
Shoulder to shoulder at the points 15 1/2"
Outside sleeve 23" with plenty of hem available if needed
Armpit to cuff 16 1/4" along inner seam
