A vintage hunting coat in a Melton wool, probably 1960s, 38" bust.
This is a lovely coat cut in the hacking style with a single rear vent, outside skirt pockets and one internal ticket pocket.
It features a silk and satin lining, a foul weather collar and buttonhole.
Condition: The coat has been used but is in good condition all over, with newly attached plain black buttons.
No rips, holes or tears or significant wear.
It has had a replacement black felt collar where there was a buff hunt collar previously attached.
It looks as if there may once have been a 4th button hole but this has been sewn up, or perhaps never opened up for use.
Bust 19" across but fairly generous bust with it
Length excl collar 27 1/2"
Outsdie sleeve 23" with 2" of hem available
Shoulder seam to shoulder seam 15 1/4" (fairly narrow in the shoulders)
