This is a beautiful, made to measure covert coat tailored in 1968 by Master tailor Bernard Weatherill.
It is to fit a 42" chest and is 39" long excluding the collar. Inside seam along arm 18" from armpit to cuff.
Weatherill was one of Britain's finest sporting tailors & this would be a wonderful addition to any wardrobe.
Heavyweight cloth, with satin lining. Brushed pocket lining for warmth.
Two inside breast pockets with two external pockets with flaps, including one with the inner ticket pocket.
Traditional 4 lines of stitching cuffs and hem.
Condition: It is generally in excellent condition with only a few small flaws.
It has a tiny pinprick moth hole on the back of the right shoulder and a small fabric graze on the right breast. The lining has some minor/light watermarking.
The coat/hanging hook at the collar is broken and needs re-stitching.
Priced accordingly, but a wonderful piece.
