A really rare, heavyweight wool-lined ladies' keepers tweed hunt coat. Ideal for cold climate hunting, all year 'round.
This coat was tailored in December 1973 by AH Brown and Sons of Yorkshire.
This is a lovely coat with a great silhouette. It's a super heavyweight piece with full tattersall wool lining including skirt and sleeves.
It is cut in the traditional hacking style with single vent to the rear, 3-button front, two outside sloping pockets.
It will suit a curvy lady with its scalloped shape. It's a 38" bust with a 35" waist.
It's in very good condition though there is some pinprick wear in the twill here and there including the collar and the arm, which may have been some early moth damage though they haven't gone through the fabric.
