A lovely, 4-button navy hunting frock coat for a lady Master.
Tailored by Bernard Weatherill in 1986.
Superb 32oz cavalry twill cloth as you would expect from the Master equestrian tailor.
It is a frock coat cut with a seamed waist.
Ticket pocket, and 2 inside showerproof hare pockets.
It is currently with a navy twill 'interim' collar which can either be covered over with a hunt collar or replaced entirely.
Currently without buttons.
It is in good condition. There is some wear along the front flap edging as photographed. This could easily be re-bound. There are a few stitches loose under one arm which would ideally be re-stitched. Does not affect use.
There are no other rips, holes or tears and the cloth is in very good condition structurally and colour-wise.
Bust measures 20 1/2" across so we would guide this as a 40-41" coat.
Length from the bottom of collar to hem 29 1/2"
Shoulder point to shoulder point 18"
Outside sleeve from top of shoulder to cuff 24 (+ 2.5 " additional hem available)
Waist measurement across narrowest point 19" (38" waist)
