A vintage bespoke heavyweight hunting sidesaddle habit in black cavalry twill.
This is a high quality habit which will suit a lady who wants a habit for use hunting, rather than showing.
There is no tailor's label but it came from an MFH's home of Weatherill, Huntsman and Frank Hall coats (1950s & 60s) and has all the hallmarks of quality English tailoring and detailing.
It's in fairly good condition inside and out but the knee is patched, and there is an L-shaped repair to the back right shoulder so it won't meet the standard needed for the show-ring or for turnout classes. There are some sections in the lining which could do with some light repair. Nothing to prevent the habit from being worn today.
Will be sold without buttons.
