An absolutely stunning, vintage navy coat by H. Huntsman of Savile Row, tailored in 1967.
H. Huntsman was the finest tailors of British equestrian clothing.
This is a glorious coat. The shaping is stunning - creating a beautiful silhouette.
It is in very good condition inside and out.
There is a pin prick hole on the right back sleeve which has been darned. There are some very faint thread scratches on the right sleeve at the elbow. There is a segment of fabric on the vent which has been replaced with the same fabric (see photo).
Cut in the traditional hacking style with a single vent to the rear and two sloped outside pockets.
It has the classic coffee-coloured H Huntsman silk lining to the upper body and showerproof lining to the skirt.
Currently with hunt buttons attached. Buttons to be returned to VTR.
Bust measures 35" (17 1/2" across bust).
Waist 32" (16 inches across waist at narrowest)
Shoulder to shoulder 15"
Sleeves fromt op of shoulder to cuff 23" (with 2 1/2" of hem available for letting out).
