A beautiful heavyweight vintage navy Bernard Weatherill hunt coat. Weatherill is the Master of equestrian tailoring.
Made in November 1969 this is a petite / short 34" coat, with a length of 24 3/4" from the bottom of the collar to the hem.
This coat would suit either hunting or the show ring given its superb condition.
It is cut in the hacking style which is almost universally flattering.
It is a hunting coat but it may also suit a high level show rider given the quality and condition.
- two sloped skirt pockets to the outside
- an inside button-up skirt pocket.
- working button-hole
- working cuffs
It is in superb condition. The only flaw to note is that there is a section of lining which had a tear, and this has now been professionally patched (photographed)
Bust 34" (by which we mean it measures 17" across the broadest part of the bust)
Shoulder to shoulder 15 3/4"
Length from bottom of collar to hem 24 3/4"
Outside sleeve 23 1/4" (it also has a very generous 3" of additional hem if needed which can be used to let sleeves down).
